Our Resident Leftbrain
Jason is owner and lead strategist for Mlicki. His vision for client engagements is to lead firms through the transition from generalist practitioners struggling to sustain a steady flow of profitable work to specialist ones attracting high value clients. In his role at Mlicki, he helps clients develop focus and expertise-based positioning strategies. Jason has led positioning and branding initiatives for a variety of professional service organizations including Alliance Data, Avizent, DHL, GE Capital, Janova, River Consulting and Sequent.
Jason’s thinking on professional services marketing has been published in the PSMG Journal and PEO Insider Magazine. He regularly speaks on a variety of topics including positioning and brand development. He sits on the Advisory Board at the Initiative for Managing Services at The Ohio State University, and is an active member of both the Society for Marketing Professional Services and Vistage. Jason received his MBA from The Ohio State University and his B.S. from Denison University.

John is the longest tenured employee at Mlicki whose last name is not "Mlicki." Under his creative leadership, Mlicki has been recognized with numerous local, national and international awards including National ADDY awards for the nation’s best advertising campaigns and REBRAND 100 awards for the most successful rebranding initiatives in the world. Whether it's brand identity, conversion-based websites, brand environments, corporate brochures, mobile sites, or "Lost" trivia you're after, John does it, and he does it well.
John’s work helps to differentiate firms through a unique visual language. He has led creative assignments for a wide range of professional services firms and multinational companies including Alliance Data, DHL, Emerson, The Fisher College of Business, GE Capital, Janova, Nestle, River Consulting, Sequent, Valvoline and Wendy’s.
Gourmand Extraordinaire
Jon is the senior client contact and day-to-day manager of operations at Mlicki. As senior client liaison, he helps firms develop and execute content-driven marketing plans. As the newest member of the Mlicki leadership team, he brings a wealth of marketing experience both client and agency-side in multiple industries including restaurant, retail, airlines, telecommunications, insurance and financial services. He has led market research, positioning, branding, marketing planning, or advertising programs for a wide range of national and international brands such as Applebee's, Dibella’s, Mellon Bank, Huntington, Sprint, USAirways, T. Marzetti's, SafeAuto Insurance, Cellular One, and White Castle.
Jon sits on the Advisory Board of the Initiative for Managing Services at The Ohio State University and is a past member of the Technomic Advisory Board. He received his MBA from Carnegie Mellon and his M.S. in Marketing from Penn State, but his heart remains with the University of Pittsburgh where he received his B.S.
